On the first Thursday of this month Pascal and I went on the Pleasanton wine stroll. They have 2-3 of these a year and this was our first one. We walked from our home to the local bank downtown to exchange our tickets for our commemorative Pleasanton wine glasses and then strolled along main street to do some wine tasting. 27 businesses had treats and appetizers to pair with the wines being offered, with each business offering tastings from different local wineries. It was so much fun to visit the shops and to see everyone walking around downtown with their wine glasses. Pleasanton really is the perfect little town.
It even has its own miniature buildings for sale! You can buy your favorite Pleasanton landmarks and create your own little Pleasanton. Only ~60,000 people live here, but the town pride is huge!
