Katie visits

This past week Katie came into town to visit! 

We hiked along Pleasanton ridge, went wine tasting, and ate dinner at Blue Agave. We tasted Pinot Noir at  La Rochelle winery and then walked down the street to taste some wines at Concannon Vineyard. On the way back we noticed the cute miniature horse above! He came over and let us pet him.

We also walked to see Oscar and feed him some carrots. The last time Pascal and I tried to feed him he refused to get up from his shady spot, and it looked like he was going to do the same to us. After holding out carrots for a good long while he finally got up and walked across the yard to the fence. Once he decided he wanted the carrots he ate them fast!

Once we were done feeding him he followed us along the fence line and then looked over the fence longingly at us until we were out of sight. My parents are coming to visit soon so hopefully I can go back and feed him again with them!
