Pleasanton closes down main street for the 1st Wednesday Street Party the first Wed of May through September. Pascal and I love to walk there from our place and check it all out. We had pulled pork sliders from the Meat and Fish Market, which is one of my favorite places in Pleasanton. We go a few times a month and the guys recognize us and ask about our jobs, etc. I bought some fish a few days earlier and when we went in the guy who sold it to me asked how the cod turned out! Their food is always great and I love how friendly the people who work there are. It definitely makes us feel like we live in a small town!
