It was barrel tasting weekend in Livermore valley this past weekend, so we went to check it out. Our ticket included a Livermore valley wine glass (so now we have Pleasanton and Livermore glasses!) and access to barrel tastings at 34 wineries, many of which had snacks for the tasters.
They actually call this a "taste" in Livermore.
It was really fun to get wine straight out of the barrel!
Eckert Estate winery had delicious cheese fondue and drinking chocolate to pair with the wines!
It was rainy but still very very pretty.
