My first lecture

This Sunday I started the week by watching the Oscars with everyone at Austin's. I had to leave early, though, because I had to prepare for the carbonate rocks lecture that I taught to Dawn's Sediments and Strata class! I'm one of the TAs for that class, and Dawn asked if I wanted to teach a lecture. It was kind of a lot of work and a little nerve-wracking, but now I've successfully taught a 50 minute lecture to a class of undergraduates on carbonate rocks!
